    How To Use

Prep Laura Mercier's Velour Puff (sold separately) by massaging Translucent Loose Setting Powder into the puff, folding both halves together. Tap the powdered side on the back of your hand to remove excess. Fold the puff in half and gently press and roll the puff onto skin to set your makeup. Around the eyes, use Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes (sold separately). Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most. Apply after any creamy formulas, including cream blush.

Tip: Renowned Makeup Artist Laura Mercier uses it to set foundation and prolong its wear. She applies it after foundation and concealer, and before applying powder-based color. As an added benefit, it eases the application of powder blush or bronzer.

    Worth it.

Okay so I have always wanted to try this but kept putting it off. I didn't think I needed to spend the $ when there are so many alternatives. I was using the coty one for a while however it put a pink cast all over my face when I have yellow/neutral undertones. So it made my foundation look like the...

I was excited to try this product, as I've been in need of a good setting powder to hold my makeup in place and combat a bit of shine. I did my due diligence researching this product, reading online reviews, perusing blog posts, and watching top-rated beauty vloggers reviews. After doing this homewo...

This is a chunky setting powder. I found it to exaggerate the mackup look. I try to hide my makeup as much as i can so it looks natural. This is easy to do with my cornstarch based products i get fro faery organix. They also dont clog me up. estee lauder makes a setting powder that causes LM look like a child's sandbox. But the EL subtly clogs my pores. This is a terrible, cakey disaster. You gals can have It.

I have been using this powder for around 2-3 years now. I have oily skin and am prone to creasing around my eye. This actually IS transluencent, I love this powder so much I would pay any price for it. I have never seen a more beautiful powder, this is a staple for a REASON!!!

I was so encouraged by all the positice reviews but I have tried many other, less expensive powders, that have a more dramatic smoothing/blurring/mattifying effect. Results are better with a puff vs brush, but even then not very impressive on my skin.
